Subject: Solemn & Heartful Stopping
There is a crazy girl inside all of us. Morna becomes electric. Kristin Hersh and the Throwing Muses deserve at threshold level our admittance that without their screechings and omens of terror, their languishing also, the wasteland would have been far to wasted.

There is a difference between orange juice and going stanley kubrik on an orange. While the Kristin Hersh fan base bless the groves of glisten and glow and awe, others put a straw in their ears so that music itself may drink the rotten fruit of their takes at it. Not so with listening, not so with ears, not so with straws.

It is no wonder that Kristin has a song now titled 'Christian Hearse'. In pressure time when her otherness becomes boxed into a strangeness, she takes a whiff at herself in somekind of laughter, evidence of a summer, a summer after a tremendous spring, a spring that pushed from under over the howls of a winter merciless, a spring that pushed from under 'a necessary' autumn.

Well, when the seasons themselves are fucked up, the Throwing Muses have contributed beyond what the United Nations have levelled to cap after world war II. For the shock to the Muses was anterior even to world war I, as if timeless, as if ageless like a vine discarded from view, accursed by jealousy of its prior fruit.

Many thanks to Kristin and many thanks also to Internet Archive.

My recommendation would be for everyone to check www.throwingmusic.com to see where the oranges come from. There is a warm reminiscence of Betty Hutton written by Kristin on the site's blog, from which everyone may infer the difference between dedicated people professing music and the hullaballoos of kleptomanics who can never have enough.

Sincerely and God bless you Kristin for your generosity and bless your garden and your fruits and your family, your fars and nears, your fan base, your wildest laughter, your most solemn tears. Amen, Elie.

She deserves it - she must be one of the hardest working women in the
music business, and certainly one of the nicest!
